Kooba’s new collection for Fall 2009 is here and ready to amaze! These new bags are absolutely stunning! The new colors are perfect for the Fall season and there are so many new shapes to choose from. I have to admit though, I was having a very hard time choosing just one as my favorite. But when Jennifer came into possession of the new Kooba Alex Tote, I found myself falling in love. I think what I love most about this bag is the classic Kooba shape that has been given a new life with the addition of some very rocker-chic looking studs. You can easily identify this bag as a Kooba bag and, yet, it’s something that hasn’t ever been seen before. Well, at least nothing I have ever seen before anyway. Plus Jennifer told the girls on TBF that the bag is super lightweight, which is a huge bonus considering how big this bag is. There’s nothing worse, in my opinion, than a handbag that weighs you down. The glazed leather is so gorgeous too. Just a hint of gloss without looking too patent-y. Jennifer, I must say, that’s one smoking hot bag you have there! It simply looks wonderful on you!The Kooba Alex Tote measures 13.5″ x 12″ x 5″ and it retails for $595. What’s fresh over at Fendi are these adorable Marshmallow Flap Bag’s. Since the moment I ran into them I knew these pieces were truly perfect for the lady who craves a great designer shoulder bag. Both carry this great silhouette resembling an oversized version of the infamous Fendi baguette hanging off a single shoulder strap.In more detail, soft gathered pleats meet at the center of this shoulder bag where you can also find an oversized double F’s metal logo. Secured by a front flap opening and sealed shut by means of a snap closure allows quick access to your goods in a simple and stylish method. A classic interpretation of leather and chain can be found on this chain-link shoulder strap, which adds character and sophistication compared to your typical simple leather shoulder strap. I absolutely adore both classic leather and logo cotton jacquard versions and I can see how both would serve best in different occasions.Although these shoulder bags are pleasant and stylish for years to come, I’m not too fond of the price tag at the moment. I have always been a fan of the Marc by Marc Jacobs “Twisted Q Groovee” and I just became a fan of the Marc by Marc Jacobs “Twisted Q Baby Groovee.” I’m not one for small handbags, but this one is cute! Obviously, if I had to choose I would pick the larger handbag without a doubt. The thing is though, is that the “Twisted Q Groovee” does cost a bit more than than the “Baby Groovee.” If you have always loved the “Twisted Q Groovee” but never had the funds for it, you can now get a smaller version of the same exact bag at a fraction of the price!The “Twisted Q Baby Groovee” is basically a carbon copy of it’s big sister, it’s just a tad bit smaller. If you like small handbags then you will probably love this bag. I would imagine that you can’t fit much in this bag, so if you don’t have much to carry around then this bag will be perfect for you!What I love most about this handbag is that it’s so versatile. You can carry it: one-of-two ways; day or night; and all year long. It really is one of those bag that no matter what you wear, it will look fabulous. You can literally wear a dress, jeans, leggings, or skirt and the bag will look stunning. If your wardrobe consists of mostly black and white clothes, then you may just fall in love with the Kate Spade “New York Radcliffe Esti Bow Tote.” Face it, your outfit will always match with the black as long as everything you wear is black and white. Even if your not fond of the black and white look, this is a cute little tote that would go with just about anything. It kind of reminds me of a bag you would wear a trench or rain coat with. Most of us Bagista’s are quite familiar with Christian Dior’s spacious shopper totes and throughout the seasons, we’ve seen the modification of the different textures and colors on these handy totes.For S/S ’10, Dior presents a quilted coated canvas in the stunning shade of fuchsia. I could settle with quilted coated canvas, but when it comes to this Dior style, rich leather would have been my pick.Regardless, this tote looks great and its cannage design is presented lovely.
